# Removing an article

The video above shows how you can (with a safety prompt) remove a news article forever (cannot be reacquired).

There are other ways you can remove a news article without deleting it forever. For example, if you want to take the article off the website but wish to edit it to create a future similar article, you could simply untoggle the ‘Published’ field. This will remove the article from the live website without deleting it from the admin section.
